Title: Owner
Company: Riverdale’s Floral Boutique

my name is Bettina McDowell and I am the owner of Riverdale’s Floral Boutique I grew up in the floral business from the time I was 10 years old my parents believed in a busy child is a child that stays out of trouble and learns how to become independent my parents chose to sell the shop when I was 25 at the age of 30 I decided it was time to open my own business after being turned down by 2 banks the 3rd one took a chance on me I had a loan for 5 years and ended up paying it off in 36 months. I made a decision that it was in my heart for me to continue to help and reach out to the people Riverdale and Clayton County the schools were a Passion because the youth is our future and the nursing homes were just a place that warmed my heart. I spend time trying to make our city a better place. I volunteer whenever I can and wherever I was wanted. I was blessed to have a young man come into my shop at 8 years old wanting to sweep the floors he is 33 years old still with me having graduated from North Clayton high school he now has his own home and a happy life. We feed the homeless and clothe them as well I just want to help people and treat them as I want to be treated. Riverdale Ga has been a Blessing to me and GOD is Good all the time. Thank you for taking the time to listen to my story.
